- The sets of all natural numbers are represent as N.
- The capital letter ‘R’ represents the sets of all real number.

#### Set Builder Form

**Set builder form**:- In this type of representation of sets, we write the common property in the form of a sentence of each element of any set. Such as A is any set whose element is {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12}. You can write it in the set-builder form like it. A = {x : x is the even number less than 14}.

Some other examples of the set-builder form are as follow. Write the set builder form of the following sets.

- A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}
- B = {1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15}
- C = {4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28}
- D = {-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,}

We can write the above questions in the set-builder form as follow.

- A = {x : x is the all natural number less than 11.}
- B = {x : x is the all odd number less than 17.}
- C = {x : x is the first seven divisibility of 4.}
- D = {x : x is the all integer where x is greater than -4 and less than 7.}

#### Roaster Form

**Roaster Form**:- It is the 2nd type of representation of sets. In this type of representation of sets, we write each element under the middle bracket as well as separated by a comma with each other. Such as A is any set whose element is {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12}. You can write it in roaster form like it. A = {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12}. We can write the above questions are same as them in the roaster form.

#### Definition of types of sets

**The Empty Sets** – Those sets in which the number of the element is empty are known as empty sets.

**Finite and Infinite Sets** – Those sets in which the number of the element is finite, they known as finite sets. Whereas the number of the element is infinite, they are known as infinite sets.

**Equal Sets** – Let, A and B are two different sets but the elements are equal or the same then we say as A and B are equal sets.

**Power Set** – Let the A be any set. The power set of set A is defined as the set of all subsets of A. The empty set and set A itself is also part of all subsets of A.
